Whoa!  Who’s the dork with the pretty girl?

Well hello. Sorry I’ve taken so long. I know you’ve given up all hope on me and my ability to “blog” but here I am. I had a horrible case of writers block. All you’re comments helped me through it.

Well here it goes…

Maybe some of you have not heard but I am starting a new job for Ottawa hydro on Jan 2nd. I’m apprenticing to be a lineman. Not sure exactly what to expect yet. I’ve heard at first it will be a lot of in class work, where they will teach some safety items and so on. I’m pretty excited to start something brand new. I met a bunch of the people who also got hired and they seemed to be pretty good people. Hopefully I’ll be able to mix in.
But with a new job means I have to leave an old one. As most of you know I’ve been at LTR for quite a long time. This december will be 6 years. I’ve gotten to know lots of people over that time and after seeing them everyday for that long you end up being friends with a lot of them. So this being my last week I have some sadness when I think about it. I learned a lot at LTR I i don’t regret any day I ever worked there. I will also miss cabinet making too. But I hope that Jay wagger buys lots of tools so that I can work in his shop. Lets all encourage Jay to buy more tools!

Also, recently I’ve started dating again. Her Name is Jessica Wierdsma. She is taking environmental earth sciences at macmaster uni in hamilton. I know you’re thinking ‘HAMILTON????? Isn’t that far?’ The answer is yes, it is far! But also worth it. plus I get to visit Deb and Brian and their fish. Anyways Jess is a “pretty rad chick” and if you haven’t met her yet you’ll have to take my word for it. I won’t go into too much detail - I think Jess reads this! I’ll try to attach a photo of us just before we go to a freinds wedding.

Well that’s it. that wasn’t too bad. Maybe i’ll do it again.

P.S. I also moved with my family. I know my Dad has been blogging telling about the work he’s done for the move but to just let you all know that was not totally true. Dad pretended to hurt his back so then I had to do all the work. No problem Dad! That’s what kids are for! And Jay didn’t do anything either.
